Sierra Leone Association of Community Health officer Diaspora Chapter

SLACHO diaspora is a group of community health officers from Sierra Leone living in the diaspora who have come together to promote universal health through equal access to health resources for all individuals. We embark on community health programs to improve education, increase economic opportunities, reduce health disparity, inequality by increasing access to quality health care services. In addition, we focused on improving the health of children, lactating mothers, pregnant women, and the general public to impact the well-being of entire communities. As a group of community health workers who have worked in most hard-to-to reach communities, we pursue community driven-outcome through collaborations and partnerships with other organizations and donors aimed at improving access to quality and affordable health.
